The quayside in the harbor town of Hout Bay, just outside Cape Town, offered a captivating scene—seals lounging and yawning in the sun, and rows of lobster traps lined up and ready for the next fishing run. The colorful, interwoven threads of the traps created a visually rich, almost abstract pattern, adding texture and rhythm to the working waterfront.
