A must-see for us in Paris was Café des Deux Moulins, in Montmartre, the red‑awned bistro immortalized as Amélie’s workplace in Jean‑Pierre Jeunet’s 2001 film, where the film’s whimsical Paris comes alive against a genuine neighborhood barroom backdrop. Inside, the tiled floor, zinc bar and small tables—still decorated with photos and film memorabilia—evoke movie scenes even though some original fixtures were altered after filming.
