Florence, Italy, is home to the expansive and historic Boboli Gardens—a lush retreat filled with classical sculptures, Roman antiquities, and centuries of layered design. Wandering through its tree-lined paths and manicured lawns offers a chance to step back in time. This photo captures an old, seemingly forgotten staircase tucked into the landscape. Weathered and unused, it invites curiosity—where might it once have led during the garden’s many stages of expansion and transformation?
