Ellis Island, located in New York Harbor near the iconic Statue of Liberty, served as the United States' busiest immigration inspection station from 1892 to 1954. The island’s buildings are filled with historic architectural detail, and what caught my eye in particular was the crisp corner edge of the main structure. Zooming in on this feature revealed a clean, geometric composition in its abstract symmetry and form.
