The inner courtyard of Antoni Gaudí’s Casa Batlló is a captivating interplay of light and color, transforming the ordinary into something mesmerizing.
The narrow space cleverly manipulates color to counteract the natural play of light—darker tiles crown the walls at the top, gradually giving way to lighter hues as they descend, reversing the typical fading of light towards the floor.
The textured glass panels staircase railings allow light to filter through, creating a mesmerizing effect as it dances and ripples like reflections on water.
