Canetti’s was a beloved, no-frills seafood spot along the old fishing waterfront of San Pedro—a local institution with a storied past. At its peak, it served as the backdrop for numerous film shoots. But as the fishing industry declined and the restaurant landscape shifted, Canetti’s eventually closed its doors in 2010. The iconic sign, shown here, was preserved and now resides in the Los Angeles Maritime Museum in San Pedro—a nostalgic tribute for those who remember the diner fondly.
